Step 3. Most quotes are confirmed or replied within one business day. When your quote is confirmed by you, you are ready to grant the project, then we could issue the official order so that we could immediately get to work on your project.

Step 4. Tooling plan & Design For Manufacturability (DFM)
Once you grant the project, you will receive an email stating that you may now issue a purchase order (PO) for the project. When we receive your PO, we will officially launch the project, invoice you for a 50% down payment, and then proceed to the Design for Manufacturability (DFM) process. The first part is a proposed tooling plan for each part we are quoting. This includes details of the parting line location on the part, gate type and location, and ejector pin witness mark locations. The second part is the DFM, which may include potential issues that need to be acknowledged and discussed, and/or problem areas that need to be redesigned. At this point, you have the opportunity to review the DFM and approve the molding plan.

Step 6 – Mold manufacturing & confirm sample parts
Upon approval of the molding plan, your mold will be created and 5-10 shot sample parts from your mold will be sent to you for review. Once the sample parts are approved and the remaining 50% of the balance is paid, we will proceed to manufacture your production parts. Upon completion, your parts will be shipped to you.
