2K mold tooling production pre-discussing with French customer
Below we show our 2K injection mold tooling details during the communication with our new French customer.

At the same time,we have taken a little bit time to prepare our quotation which will be more suitable for your request.
Please check below our answers regarding your questions.
In my opinion, overmolding mold is not feasible for CHGE-21-004_a_v04. Could you quote it in 2K mold?
Deep: For this mold,it can be made by overmolding,we have made a lot of overmolding part before.
We also checked of 2K mold and the 2K injection machine's cost,both cost will be double than current price,please consider.
Other remarks are below:
1. For the packing, we will need them to be packed on a pallet. Please include it into the price if it doesn’t.
Deep:This is no problem,we will add pallet for shipping.
3. Our general payment term: 50% deposit and 50% after sample approval for sample and mold cost; 30% deposit and 70% before shipment for mass production. Will you agree with that?
Deep:We accept the payment term and we have updated it in our quotation,please check.
4. “Plastic and rubber parts to be food complaint acc. To EC 1935-2004” according to the notes on the drawings. Can you meet it?
Deep:As the EC 1935-2004 we have called the certificate organization,we have to use food grade and original materialto meet this request and we have to make the report for this standard.
So we have updated the raw material with currently data sheets,please check.As PA+20GF has very few food grade,we suggest to use PA+30GF or PA+15GF to instead of it.Please consider.
5. What’s material cost for PA6+20%GF and TPE? We will accept price adjustment when the fluctuation of material cost is more than 3%. Will you agree with that?
Deep:We accept and we have updated the original raw material cost in our quotation,please check.
6. What’s exchange rate you used? We will accept price adjustment when the fluctuation of exchange rate is more than 3%. Will you agree with that?
Deep:We accept it with thanks.We used USD1:RMB 6.35 for the exchange rate now.
7. Can you achieve all dimensions and tolerances on the drawings?
Deep:Yes,it is no problem,we have rich experience on the part size adjusment,we will make moldflow/pre-bend 3D part/safe steel in advance.We can adjust the tight tolerances after T1 mold trials.
8. The component CHGE-21-004_e is missing in your quotation.
Deep: Now it has been added.Please check.
9. We will also need the screw for item 6 as attached picture shown. Could you also quote it?
Deep: We will provide the 6 screws for your team free.
10. What’s the lead time for mass production?
Deep: Mold tooling will be 35-40 days after receving your order.Production will be checked with raw material supplier,if they have the raw material on stock,then we need 2 weeks can be ok.
