My Experience Of Learning Injection Molding Design
Leave a message
Once upon a time long ago I was an injection molding engineer:) It was started since I was 17.
The very beginning is learning the orders of auto CAD 2004,it took about one month to be perfect using.
Then try to understand every single circel's meaning. 2 visible circles are for screw? 1 visble circle and 1 invisible circle is for return guide pin? Every beginning is very hard, but we stepped in the injection molding industry already.

After almost half of year,we started to learn the 3D software, the beginning we learnt Proe 2003,then we changed to learn UG 4.0,the 3D software is really good for the injection molding three-dimensional thinking. It is not the same as a 2D drawing, only lines or circles, but this is a solid in front of you. You can truely understand what is a real screw.

To learn about injection molding design is a long time progress.
Perhaps one year after, you can know a little bit what is injection molding.
After 2 years more, you can give suggest to design a good mold.
After more years, you will see project management, customer's satisfaction, injection machine setting parameters or each raw material's specification.

The injection molding area is a big big world. Live and learn.
Never stop the step of improving yourself.
